Grab your computer, pen, pencil, paper, quill and ink and join us for the Writer's Room presented by ISTC Launch. For those looking for a spring board, we'll have some brain starters to get you going!
Hosted by Des Moines Playwright Karen Schaeffer (Girls' Weekend, Choices, Recompense) and Shawn Wilson of ISTC Launch, The Writer's Room is a casual and free space to work among fellow local writers. Collaborate with others or work on your own, The Writer's Room is open to all regardless of experience or genre.
The Writer's Room is not a workshop but instead a place for writers of all types to come together for ideas, encouragement and fellowship.

From 14th, Turn E on Morton Ave, and then park on the left where you can see the big red Viking Theatre.
