Politics Turns Life and Death

Shakespeare’s classic telling of one of history’s great fables. Caesar’s ambition frightens Brutus and others to turn on him and assassinate him, leading to civil war in Rome. A tale of political intrigue with brutal consequences, Shakespeare’s poetry makes Roman history sing today.

  • Based on Roman history of the assassination of Julius  Caesar and the war that followed

  • Shakespeare introduced a number of anachronisms, including hats, doublets (Elizabethan jackets), and a clock striking.
