eli heginger

Eli Heginger is a young designer in the Des Moines Area. His main area of expertise is lighting design.  He has also designed sound for Class Act Productions and Des Moines Young Artist Theatre. He has also helped with set, stage management, and props at DMACC and with Iowa Stage in the past.  Eli has light designed many shows in the area, including several at Hoyt Sherman Place where he was recently hired as a house lighting designer. He has worked for numerous shows at Iowa Stage, including designing lights for Melancholy Play, A Chamber Musical, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has also served as a master electrician and board operator for the majority of shows put on by Iowa Stage starting with Sweat. He has also done occasional work for PBS, union work at the Civic Center, Wells Fargo Arena, Stephens Auditorium, Vibrant Music Hall and several more.
