Development Director

Dove Haase joins Iowa Stage with 15 years of fundraising and non-profit management experience and a passion for art’s ability to shape quality of life and economic development. Although born and raised in Des Moines, she lived and worked in both Chicago and Pittsburgh before finding her way back home—in many ways, having performed at the Stoner Theater with one of Iowa Stage’s predecessors as a young child.

Dove received her BBA with an English minor from The University of Iowa, where she focused her
studies on non-profit management and direct marketing. She began her fundraising career at Children & Families of Iowa before honing her skills at Chicago Tech Academy and the Illinois Institute of Technology. While in Chicago, she channeled her passion for equity into service for the Chicago Foundation for Women, Posse Foundation, and KIPP Chicago. More recently, she pursued her MPP at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where she focused on project management and urban policy while serving as a member of the school’s Arts Management & Technology Lab (AMT Lab). Dove is a fierce advocate for women and girls, technology, and the arts, and looks forward to increasing and mobilizing Iowa Stage’s community of supporters to continue to grow the organization’s already great impact.
