At Iowa Stage Theatre Company, we believe that theater is a conversation, not a lecture. And while we can't gather together in one room, we are keeping that conversation going.
We have launched Iowa Stages Conversations on our YouTube channel, talking with arts leaders around the region about what it's like to create here. We have conversations with Adam Knight of Riverside Theater, David Kilpatrick of the Des Moines Community Playhouse, and now Jennifer Nostrala of Simpson Productions.
We're sharing memories and show pieces from our Resident Artist Company--look for more of those in the days to come.
We will also be sharing online versions of our Scriptease Play Reading Series, beginning with A'ndrea Wilson's Mahala Island premiering on Friday 5/15 along with a conversation with Dr. Wilson.
