Season 2020-2021 Sees Dimensions of Friendship, Foes, and Family
We are thrilled to be able to announce the lineup for ISTC’s fourth season. We are bringing back two shows rescheduled from the pandemic, The Cake and Sweat. One of the great classics of the American stage, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, will be seen for the first time in a long while in central Iowa. Scrooge and Marley are back in the thrilling holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. And for the second year we have a world premiere from an Iowa Playwright, a successor to a hugely popular show in recent years,
Karen Schaeffer’s Girls’ Weekend 2.
All of these back in our home at the Stoner
Theater of Des Moines Performing Arts.
We cannot wait to see you at the theater!
It’s the long-awaited sequel to Karen Schaeffer’s hit comedy Girls’ Weekend! The girls are back at Dot's cabin, ready for an epic bachelorette party. But no one is ready for a smack down, an unsolved mystery, and an ex who just can't stay away. It's going to take a glass or two to get through this girls' weekend.
