Michael Wilson’s version has run at the Alley Theatre in Houston for nearly thirty years
Designer Jay Jagim helped Wilson develop the script, and designed the premiere
Charles Dickens wrote the story in just 6 weeks. He started in October 1843, writing obsessively. He finished the novella at the end of November so it could be published in time for Christmas. A Christmas Carol hit the shops on December 17, 1843 and sold out in three days.
